Make your Laptop a Wifi hotspot

Now a days most of the mobile phone support wifi connection.  People use internet connection in their laptop from modem or wired connection or from wifi. But the wifi may be available for that computer only. So you may want to share your computer internet connection to your phone. So, how can I use internet connection from my laptop to my mobile phone? How can I make my laptop a wifi hotspot? is mostly asked questions. Today I have a tutorial on Make your Laptop a Wifi hotspot

You may learn to create wifi from your laptop. But you can’t use the connection in your mobile it is just shown as wifi is available only her you will get all tutorial so that you can connect your mobile to internet shared from the computer.

 

Follow these following process:-
Press windows key + X and now press A (simply open Administrator: Command Prompt) Press yes to confirm (allow Command Prompt to run as administrator)
 
Now type following and press enter after each line:-
  1. netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow
  2. netsh wlan set hostednetwork  ssid=amritdevkota.com.np key=12345678
  3. netsh wlan start hostednetwork (If you get error message as above image just check your wifi is turned on or not Or check network adapter)
Now wifi is created from your laptop if you search for wifi from other device it shows a wifi named “amritdevkota.com.np” and it’s passkey is “12345678”. But you can’t use the internet connection from your computer in other device you need to do something more.
Follow following process:-
Go to Control Panel >>> Network and Internet >>> Network and Sharing Center
 
Read the Above image.
Here,
  1. Wireless Terminal 3 is the network name I am using to connect my Pc to Internet. (you may have different connection so use that connection for further tutorial.)
  2. amritdevkota.com.np created wifi No network access mean there is wifi is hosted from your computer but can’t connect to internet.
Now, Click in Change adapter settings
 
Here Wireless Terminal is my connection there is tick mark. Right click in it and click to Properties. (select your own connection)
 
Now under Sharing in Select a private network connection Select That one as shown in above image. It is local area connection* 14 it may be different in different computer. Tick in allow other network users to…………….. Then Click in OK.
Now Disconnect your internet and connect it again.
Or,
Go to Administrator: Command Prompt(windows key + X first, then A) and stop hostednetwork by using “netsh  wlan stop hostednetwork”
and start it again by using. “netsh wlan start hostednetwork”
 
Now if you connect your mobile from that wifi hosted from your computer you can connect now.
To stop use “netsh wlan stop hostednetwork” in Administrator: Command Prompt
 
Now You make your Laptop a Wifi hotspot. Don’t forget to comment.
